LUUT doesn't do change-of-mind returns. Once a deal is matched the price is locked, and once the card's in your hands you've already had photos plus a 72-hour inspection window to confirm it's the right card. Returns are rare, and only come up when a card arrives very different from what the offer pictured and described.
Returns are tied to refunds. When a refund is granted on a delivered card (wrong card, grade mismatch, condition mismatch), the card normally goes back to the seller first, then the refund is released. Sending the card back is what lets us refund the buyer while keeping things fair to the seller.
Once a not-as-described issue is confirmed, the seller chooses whether they want the card returned. Most sellers want their card back, but a seller may also waive the return and refund you without it. Either way the call is the seller's, not LUUT's, and your refund is protected in escrow while it is sorted out.
A confirmed counterfeit is never shipped back to the seller, because we don't put fakes back into circulation. In that case you're refunded in full and may be asked to destroy or surrender the card. See prohibited items for how counterfeits are handled.
