LUUT exists for individual TCG cards. A few categories are off-limits even when they sit next to the catalog: things we can't fairly authenticate, things impractical to ship, or things that create legal or platform-policy risk.
Hard no
Counterfeits, proxies, or custom "altered" cards
Sold as authentic. If a card is confirmed counterfeit, the sale is reversed, the buyer is made whole, and the refund is recouped from the seller, who is banned.
Sealed product
Booster boxes, packs, tins, ETBs, blisters. LUUT trades singles only, for now.
Stolen or fraudulently obtained cards
If we're notified, the offer is removed and the seller is suspended pending review.
Cards with disputed ownership
Split lots, consignment escrow that hasn't closed, etc.
Non-Pokémon TCG cards
Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, and sports cards aren't in scope yet.
Cards staged to hide flaws
Re-sleeved slabs, photos angled to mask creases, anything that misrepresents condition.
Allowed with conditions
Graded slabs
Must come from a recognized grader (PSA, CGC, BGS, TAG, ACE, SGC). "Other" is allowed, but the buyer takes on the authentication risk and we lean on the seller's photos if a question comes up.
Reverse-holos, alt-arts, special variants
Allowed if the offer message calls out the variant. Use the card's "variant" field in the bounty when posting.
Promos and non-numbered cards
Fine as long as the catalog has them. If a card isn't in our catalog, use the "request a card" form during posting and we'll add it.
If a prohibited item slips through
The Report button on offers and bounties goes straight to our review queue. Confirmed prohibited items are removed, repeat violators are suspended or banned. Obvious cases (sealed product, counterfeits, non-Pokémon) get removed without review.
