LUUT generates the shipping label for every transaction. Sellers don't have to price out rates at the post office. Labels are prepaid (shipping cost is included in the buyer's total) and tracking flows back to both sides automatically.
Buyer pays
Via Stripe. Their total covers item, shipping, and tax if applicable.
Seller prints the label
Click "Generate label" on the transaction page. LUUT then generates a printable shipping label.
Pack and drop off
Hard mailer or top-loader surrounded by two pieces of carboard shipped within a sturdy box. More padding for graded cards.
Tracking auto-updates
Both parties see the carrier, tracking number, and current status on the transaction page.
Delivery starts the 72-hour window
Payout auto-releases at the end of it, or sooner if the buyer confirms receipt.
Raw cards
Penny sleeve into a top-loader with a piece of cardboard on top and below the card, kept in place with tape or rubber bands and shipped in a box. Tape the top-loader closed.
Graded slabs
Snug into a slab-sized box with rigid backing on both sides. Don't let the slab move inside the package.
Contents description
Don't mark "trading cards" on the contents description. The carrier's generic option is fine.
We pick the rate based on declared value and service speed. Usually USPS Ground Advantage or First-Class for raw cards, Priority for graded. International shipping is not currently offered.
Orders of $250 or more ship with signature confirmation by default, so a valuable card isn't left on a doorstep. Insurance is recommended on high-value orders too: the included carrier coverage is limited, so insuring the full value means a card lost in transit can be made whole.
Tracking stalled, package never arrived? Head to the transaction page and we've got you covered. LUUT files the carrier insurance claim (every label is insured up to declared value at purchase) and refunds the buyer from escrow, usually faster than waiting on the carrier.
